Why You'll Love It
Picture this: Little House on the Prairie but make it boozy. Made from neutral grain spirits and apples, this American staple is as iconic as the Statue of Liberty herself. First produced in colonial New Jersey by Scottish Immigrant, William Laird, Applejack's claim to fame comes from George Washington, who loved it so much, he just had to have the recipe. And if George Washington loved it, colonial America loved it. Its popularity has declined since the old horse and cart days on the prairie, but we're thinking it's time to bring it back. You can drink your applejack on the rocks, in a Jack Rose cocktail or if you're brave enough, a Stone Wall. We apologise in advance for the hangover.
